Support from Clyde Valley Lifts

Clyde Valley Lifts are here to help with your lift responsibilities. As a lift owner or the manager of a building incorporating lifts you have a duty to ensure that the lifts under your control are safe to use for your staff and/or public.

PUWER (Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998) places responsibilities on businesses and organisations to keep equipment such as lifts maintained and to be kept in safe working order. A regular scheduled maintenance is essential to keep you in line with your lift responsibilities. Read more about our quality maintenance services.

Along with regular maintenance it is also required that lifts undergo thorough LOLER(Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations) examinations. Bi annually for lifts carrying persons, and once per annum for goods only. It is recommended that these examinations are not carried out by your maintenance provider to ensure unbiased opinions. Check with your lift insurance/building insurance to check if these inspections are included. If not we can arrange third party inspections on your behalf. We can also carry out these LOLER inspections if we are not your current maintenance provider. Read more about LOLER  Inspections.
